Summary of Selected Contents from Landsmen

Volumes 1 - 20

[Journal of the Suwalk-Lomza Interest Group for Jewish Genealogists]

NOTE: The Summary of Selected Contents is a long and detailed listing.  You can search for your town or other keyword in most browsers with the FIND  command or equivalent. Given in the box below is the Internet Explorer 8.0  procedure. For other versions or browsers use your help menu/guide and look for a procedure or phrase similar to "Find text on webpage".

  1. Click Edit in the Menu Bar near the top of the page and then click Find on this Page to display the text box on the tab row. If the Edit menu does not appear, press the ALT key to display it.

  2. In the text box type your town or keyword. The number of matches found will appear next to the Options button, and the page will automatically scroll to the first occurrence of the word or phrase.

  3. To go to the next or previous instance of the word or phrase, click the Next or Previous button. The new occurence will appear in one color (usually blue) and the others will remain in the default color (usually yellow).

  4. You can also do this procedure with keyboard shortcuts. To display the text box on the tab row  press CTRL+F. Press ENTER to go to the next keyword or  press SHIFT+ENTER to go to the previous word.

Alternatively, an efficient way to use this Contents summary is to first view our Index of Articles by Town, which gives the Volume and issue number for all articles and data sets in Landsmen. Make a note of the citations for all items in the Index of interest to you. Then return to this Contents page and scroll down the list below until you reach the specific issues of interest to you
