Memorial (Yizkor) books were written by individuals or groups of Holocaust survivors about the towns or regions that they came from. There are many Yizkor books written about towns in Galicia.

Various Holocaust related materials and excerpts from Yizkor books for various towns, including many Galician towns, have been translated into English and put on the web by the JewishGen Yizkor Book Project. For some towns there is a searchable surname index. Many small towns in Galicia that do not have individual books may be covered by nearby town or district books or are listed in a Galicia region book.
